Engineering Studio for .NET SaaS Architecture · Osnabrück

We design AND implement.

Tigerware is a founder-led engineering studio: the architecture we propose is the architecture we build — all the way into production. No concept PDF for someone else's team to suffer through.

For companies, CTOs and founders who need robust, reliable software.

Behind Tigerware is Janis E. H. Pütz — a software developer & architect with 13+ years of experience in business-critical systems, including work for CARIAD (Volkswagen Group).

From idea to operation

One partner across the whole lifecycle — from domain modelling through architecture, development and testing to production operation. A single point of contact who owns the outcome, not just individual tickets.

Services

Complete solutions, not just parts — we take responsibility from concept to operation.

New software solutions

Complete products from concept through development to launch — greenfield, set up thoughtfully.

Software architecture

Scalable, maintainable systems with Clean Architecture, DDD and CQRS — built to grow.

SaaS, Web & Cloud

SaaS platforms and web applications with Blazor/.NET, robust APIs, deployment automation with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.

AI integration

AI features in your product — meaningfully integrated, not bolted on. Internally, modern AI tooling speeds up our delivery.

Modernization

Stabilize, untangle and future-proof existing software.

DDD migration

Introduce Domain-Driven Design into existing systems: carve bounded contexts, model the core domain, decouple legacy code step by step — without a big-bang rewrite.

High speed. Senior quality.

Speed alone doesn't produce maintainable software. Under direct architectural responsibility, I ensure the result keeps its quality for the long run — through proven patterns, Domain-Driven Design, tests and reviews. Modern AI tooling is a tool in experienced hands, not a substitute for experience.

AI is no hype to me: over ten years ago, neural networks and machine learning were already part of my work — I know where modern AI helps and where experience makes the difference.

Architecture we'd operate ourselves

We don't deliver architecture we wouldn't operate ourselves.

Tests before you have to

We test before you have to — with unit, integration, and E2E tests.

Transparent AI use

We keep AI use transparent: tools accelerate us, humans stay accountable.

Patterns, not package dependencies

We build on patterns, not package dependencies: your architecture stays yours — even after the next framework license change.

Selected projects

Software our founder has delivered over the past years — from the Volkswagen Group to a robotics startup.

CARIAD · Volkswagen Group

License-management system

Independent architecture and development of a business-critical license-management platform: Blazor Server UI, EF Core on SQL Server, multiple decoupled Windows Services for background and scheduled processes, a full test suite (xUnit, bUnit, Moq, FluentAssertions). Low-risk .NET 6 → .NET 8 migration on a live system — with no interruption to production license delivery.

M-Soft

Document management system

Design and development of a business-critical DMS in C#/.NET: EF Core repositories, Lucene-based full-text search integrated into the domain logic. Seamless integration with an existing desktop ERP system via its built-in browser component, including JS-based communication for automatic single sign-on. Security-relevant architecture decisions (password hashing, access-token handling). Infrastructure automation with Pulumi and Azure DevOps.

Motion Media

Virtual-tour SaaS

Independent architecture planning for a SaaS platform for virtual 360° property tours, planned as a multi-service architecture from day one rather than a monolith. Carried the Java 8 codebase forward to Java 11 and migrated it onto Spring Boot; extended it with a REST API for a later companion mobile app; backed the core business processes with integration tests.

Why a studio, not an agency

Founder · .NET architect

Agencies scale with headcount. Tigerware scales with architecture, automation, and AI-augmented delivery. From the first call to the last deployment, you talk to the same person who owns the code: Janis Pütz, .NET architect with 13+ years of experience, incl. CARIAD (Volkswagen Group).

What "we" means at Tigerware: our standards. Every project ships with tests, monitoring, documentation, and a handover worthy of the name — that's what we stand for.

How projects start

Every project starts with a paid discovery phase: we clarify scope, risks, and architecture before promising effort.

Afterwards you know what you're commissioning — and we know what we're accountable for.

Let's talk about your project.

Tell us about your idea or challenge — we'll get back to you with a no-obligation proposal.

  • A good fit for demanding .NET SaaS backends, architecture reviews, DDD migrations and legacy modernisation.
  • Project-based collaboration with one dedicated point of contact — not staff augmentation, not full-time on-site.
